Design Intake

After you have completed your agreement after purchasing your package, you will be prompted to complete the questionnaire, or you can come back to complete it when you are ready.  You will have to give measurements, photos and answer questions about your vision and space requirements.

A budget of at least $5,000 when requesting services for a full room is recommended to ensure that you are able to get the best recommendations for your space.  If you do have a lower budget range, all best efforts are made to follow this budget but may go a bit over your range to ensure quality products in your design.

If you are keeping items, it is important to include all of the details, which is either a link, good photos and/or measurements so that they can be properly included in your design.  You will do this in the design intake.

Designer Meeting

During this meeting, we help the client define the scope of their project and make a timeline for completion of the virtual design. We will also review final details and requests for the project before starting the full design project work.

Design Delivery and Implementation 

We are happy to make unlimited revisions for you within 5 business days of receiving your design. Because of this revision policy, we do not offer refunds once the agreement for services has been signed.

Once you’ve completed purchasing all the home furnishings, you will have access to your design guide and portal where you can make sure everything is placed to perfection. In addition, you will receive a detailed floor plan outlining the exact placement of all furniture and decorative items.

Paint and Wallpaper Selections

Always test colors and obtain samples before you begin your projects.  Every space and computer screen shows color differently.

Sourcing

We source from several popular retails and several trade accounts that we hold with different vendors, that allows us to give you options that are not available in retail stores, that are unique and only available to designers.  We also will source from retail vendors that you are familiar with like West Elm, Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids, Pottery Barn Teen, Rejuvenation, William Sonoma, William Sonoma Home, Wayfair, AllModern, Birch Lane, Perigold, Lulu + Georgia, Article, Joybird, Crate & Barrel, CB2, Anthropologie, McGee & Co. Burrow, Minted, Arhaus, Room & Board, Lamps Plus, RH, Serena & Lily, Little Design Company, Artfully Walls, Bloomscape, Design within Reach….to name a few.  We have a list of over 250 different vendors partners that we work with, depending on the scope of the project.

With virtual interior design or e-design, we have not seen all items we recommend in-person prior to your purchase.  We use our knowledge, judgment, and discernment in item selection but cannot always verify the quality of every item.  There are times when items will be delivered and not look like the item pictured online. We will work with you case by case if this occurs to reselect another item, but we do not handle the return or refund of the item, you will need to address that directly with the vendor.

Ordering

When it comes to ordering your items in your design project, we will create a list for you to click and review the items.  We will also put all of the items on one check out page so you can determine where to place your orders without making multiple small orders.  Budget Fancy acts as third party, affiliate or trade partner and each check out step will reflect that.

Once you connect to the checkout page and click on the cart you would like to complete, you will be given the chance to enter any retailer specific discount or promotional codes there.

You will need to move quickly on purchasing the items from a final delivered design board to ensure that items remain in stock and available for purchase.

If an item goes out of stock outside of our working window (10 business days post design delivery), a re-sourcing fee of $75 for re-selection will be imposed.

Shipping

We offer items from multiple vendor partners and the shipping rates are based on the subtotal of all items in the cart and is an estimate.  You will get the exact shipping cost when you go to checkout and enter in your complete shipping address and shipping requests.

Please note: we will not be receiving, assembling or handling any of the orders that you have made unless you have purchased our full concierge services.  We will not be handling your returns, shipping your items or control the ETA on any item you order.  Your items will ship to you directly from the retailer.

If you are planning to move, your property is vacant or you will not be to the property for a certain amount of time you will need to make arrangements for your deliveries or time your deliveries for when you are at the property.  If you would like help setting up delivery and storage, we can refer you to several different service providers that we work with in different parts of the United States.

Returns

Return policies vary based on the vendor partner and can be found linked in your project space as well as on the product links and in the check out when you are completing your transaction with each vendor partner.
